no time to explain is my first live-action film including VFX and CGI shots in the short. All VFX was done in Blender, it was edited with DaVinci Resolve and filmed with a Canon 1300D and a Zhiyun Crane 2 gimbal.

it is about about a teenager called Dex clicking on a virus pop-up while on YouTube which brings him to a path of destruction and war. He then gets presented with a situation where he can get on a path to restore peace and right his wrongs.

I was inspired by events in the press at the time which got me thinking about a way to educate young people into the dangers of the internet and choices made online. The vision was to incorporate young actors to speak and relate to the audience and to include my love for CGI/VFX into an action-pact short film with a message.
